They are dumbfound. They only know about Fox Mustangs." Most of Vern's stock hails from Tennessee, Texas, and other deep-south states and consists of '60s musclecars, pony cars, and what he calls rarity stuff, like the Pro Street Challenger and the '62 Plymouth Savoy 413 S/S clone. Aside from the gift of gab, his best sales tool is the Internet, which he says "has really come on strong for the last year or so," and more than 60 percent of sales are completed through it. Some cars wind up in California and as far away as Russia. "We try to keep stuff under $20,000 so people can ride without killing the bank." Our advice? Check ‘em out personally.

HEY GUYS I BOUGHT A 1969 DART SWINGER ( BLUE 340 CAR) BACK AROUND AUGUST OF 2002 WHEN I WAS LIVING IN MICHIGAN. SOMETIME LA TER SAW THE RO McGONEGAL ARTICLE IN HOT ROD AND SENT HIM AN EMAIL AND SOME PICTURES WHICH THEY PRINTED IN THEIR MAIL COLUMN. THESE WERE OF THE CAR RUNNING AT MILAN. 11.71 ET THREE DAYS AFTER I PICKED IT UP WITH OUT TOUCHING IT. I DROVE IT TO BAKERS CRUISE AND OTHER SHOWS MANY TIMES. WELL WE MOVED TO CALIFORNIA IN EARLY 2003 AND TOOK THE CAR WITH US. I STILL HAVE NOT TOUCHED IT THOUGH I HAVE ADDED A SET OF WHEELIE BARS BUT REALLY NOTHING ELSE. I HAVE NOT EVEN RESET THE VALVE LASH THOUGH I PROBABLY SHOULD. THE CAR IS A REGULAR AT MOPAR AND OTHER CAR SHOWS IN THE RIVERSIDE CA AREA. ALSO MANY TRIPS TO THE CALIFORNIA DRAGWAY FOR THE SATURDAY NIGHT STREET LEGAL RACES. THE PICTURES ATTACHED ARE FROM THE PACIFIC STREET CAR ASSOCIATION FALL NATIONALS IN OCTOBER 2004. (NOTE: I HAVE STILL NOT TOUCHED THE DRIVE TRAIN SINCE I BOUGHT IT FROM YOU). I RAN A BEST OF 11.69 @ 113 THROUGH THE OPEN HEADERS ON 110 OCTANE. UNFORTUNATELY A BIG RED EYE GOT THE BETTER OF ME IN THE SECOND ROUND. STILL A GREAT TIME AND THE CAR RAN JUST FINE. I WAS JUST SAYING TO MY WIFE WHAT A GREAT PURCHASE THIS CAR HAD BEEN AND HOW MUCH FUN I AM HAVING WITH IT. I HAVE A COUPLE OTHER CARS THAT SEEM TO SIT IN THE GARAGE ALOT AS THIS ONE IS SO MUCH FUN. WELL WE ARE HEADING BACK TO MICHIGAN IN EARLY 2005 SO MAYBE I WILL BRING IT BY IN THE SUMMER JUST TO SHOW IT OFF. AGAIN THANKS FOR DOING SUCH A GOOD JOB OF SELECTING VEHICLES THAT ARE CLEAN, FUN AND DEPENDABLE. I MAKE IT A POINT TO CHECK YOUR WEB SITE ONCE A MONTH OR SO TO SEE WHAT YOU HAVE NEW ON THE LOT. David; Just a quick note to let you know the MOD TOP, got here on afternoon of Mother's Day. Saved me buying a gift for wife, HA HA. I appreciate your honesty in answering all the questions I had. Just thought you would smile to see the car you sold me and my daughter back in march of 04 has won the excellence award at the MIS Nationals car show back on Aug 6, We had done a lot of work to it over the last year but still is the basic car you sold us.
